Radio One Places 8th In Radio Rev

Lanham-based urban radio giant Radio One takes 8th place in a BIA/Kelsey list of the top 15 radio station ownership groups by revenue. With $226 million via 52 stations in 16 markets, including DC and Baltimore. Texas-based radio giant Clear Channel, which owns 11 stations locally, takes the top spot with $2.3 billion. NYC-based CBS, with 9 local stations, ranks 2nd at $1.2 billion. Other non-locally-based local stations owners: Citadel 4th with $595 million, Bonneville 9th with $216 million, Salem 11th at $182 million.....
