FCC’s Baker: Telecom Act needs an update

As Washington preps for a new Congress, there’s some inside the Beltway talk of reopening the 1996 Telecom Act and making some changes. With a particularly deep partisan split, it’s likely a long shot. But FCC commissioner Meredith Attwell Baker says the law is ripe for change.
