BMI, RMLC reach tentative royalty deal.

Exclusive: More than two years after the radio industry’s previous rate agreement with BMI expired, the Radio Music License Committee (RMLC) has reached an agreement in principle for a new industry wide license. It covers the royalties paid to songwriters and music publishers behind the more than 7.5 million musical works in the BMI repertoire.
