iHeart Gives Big $Dollars$ To Pols

In the 2014 election cycle, radio giant iHeart, formerly Clear Channel, contributed $371,500 to specific candidates, and its employees chipped in another $97,650.
House Speaker John Boehner, the Ohio Republican, was the largest beneficiary of that largess at $15,400.
Grouping together iHeart and individuals associated with it, there was $92,400 given to the National Republican Senatorial Committee, $77,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee, $32,400 to the Republican National Committee, and $30,000 each to the Democratic House and Senate campaign committees.
$201,800 to GOP committees
$60,000 to their Democratic counterparts.
