The President still has to deal with the bombing of the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington DC, and plane crash in suburban Pittsburg during the Bush Administration. The subsequent war on terrorism and actual wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq linger on eight years after the first attack on continental US soil since the War of 1812 happened on September 11th, 2001.
