Phil Mickelson wins 2010 Masters Tournament moments ago
An electrifying final two rounds of golf propells PGA Golfer Phil Mickelson to his third Masters tournament victory a few minutes ago. Phil joins an elite few in golfs' history to have ever won the Masters at least three times, in the place where the late Godfather of Soul James Brown called home, Augusta, Georgia USA.
Near a decade ago Phil Mickelson was criticized for not winning Major golf tournaments, now he has three green sports jackets to wear on St. Patricks Day.
Following the tournament, after Phil parred the 18th-hole, Mickelson shed tears while hugging wife Mrs. Michelson. She had to deal with breast cancer last year that forced Phil off the PGA tour last golf season. What a way to start the new PGA golf season than with a major victory at Augusta, Ga. with Phil's recovering wife.
Mickelson finished the 2010 Masters tournament at 16-under for the tournament, three shots ahead of contender Lee Westwood, and five shots ahead of Tiger Woods.
Tiger Woods began the day miserably boogeying the first hole, but ended up in contention with three under par for the day. Woods ended up 11 shots under par for the 2010 Masters tournament. The Masters was Tiger Woods first tournament of the 2010 PGA tour, missing several the PGA first few tournaments due to his personal adultery issues that could very well end Tiger Woods marriage.
Female sports reporters noticably have negatively shunned Tiger Woods on ESPN and other sports shows golf panels for cheating on his wife. Tiger reception by golf fan at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia was favorable, proving that redemption has its' place in some corners.
