So sorry to "rain on the parade" here. I think it is utterly ridiculous for such drivel about the supposed "courage" of our troops to "keep us safe" is being parroted in this forum.

From what or whom is this predominantly mercenary gang keeping us "safe"? They actually hurt my interests. They protect only the interests of the Zionist Protectorate and the Oligarchs running this country.

Actually, "The Troops" should be on their knees, in everlasting thanks to the foolish American taxpaying public for footing the huge bill (outrageous contractor salaries, far too generous G.I. financial incentives, benefits etc.) brought about by our make war/"make work" policy.

By the way, are we also to show "thanks" to the troops in the event their Plutocrat paymasters have their way and begin bombing Iran? Or would it be more appropriate to show "thanks" to the AshkeNAZI-run Israeli military machine if they instead are set loose to commit the crime?

Whichever the case, I need protection from neither Iran nor did I ever need it from Saadam Hussein; especially not from Iran. Yet this is precisely the Big Lie being sold to the American public; that Iran is a "danger" to world peace. America is actually the biggest single threat to peace the world has seen since Nazi tanks rolled through Poland.

At any rate, many of the American gun-toters alluded to earlier would be otherwise unemployed and struggling, like many of the rest of us here in the "Homeland", if they were forced to find a productive and non-violent line of work. Instead, they are ritually lionized for performing duties which serve to degrade the life condition of all in the world.

"Show thanks to the troops" for "keeping us safe"? I will thank them only when they opt-out of taking further part in the systematic rape, murder, and destruction of lives and the world. My grave concern is that by that time it will be too late.
