Be Well & Give Back with Walgreens

As we get ready to kick off the 2014 National Urban League Conference in the Queen City, I want to extend a special invitation to get healthy, get fit and give back with our partner Walgreens.

Throughout the conference, our National Urban League and Walgreens Way to Well Health Tour state of the art mobile health clinic will be on-site in the Health Zone & Expo Hall. In addition to providing critical health tests, assessments, and education, Walgreens will be signing up conference visitors for Balance Rewards for healthy choices – a free program that rewards you for doing healthy activities such as running, walking and taking health tests like those we will be offering in the Health Zone.

Bright and early on Saturday morning, we will get up and get grooving during our annual Power Walk. Bring your pedometers or power up your fitness apps, earn some rewards and join us for an invigorating walk by the river

Along with improving your health and wellness, make sure to stop by the Volunteer Zone and give back by helping assemble back to school kits with items donated by Walgreens for underserved children in the Cincinnati community.
