TODAY: Valerie Jarrett and Lynn Rosenthal to Hold Press Conference Call to Discuss the Administration’s Unprecedented Coordinated Effort to Combat Violence Against Women

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, October 27th, Valerie Jarrett, Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor, and Lynn Rosenthal, White House Advisor on Domestic Violence, will host an on-the-record conference call with reporters to discuss the Obama Administration’s unprecedented coordination across the federal government to combat violence against women. Jarrett and Rosenthal will discuss key initiatives announced today by a number of agencies to help protect victims of domestic violence and end the cycle of abuse. The call is scheduled to take place at 5:00 p.m. EDT, immediately following the President and Vice-President’s event at the White House honoring Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
