Veteran Cubs broadcaster Santo dead at 70

Ron Santo, the legendary Chicago Cubs player who served as the team’s play-by-play color voice for the past two decades, died Thursday night in Arizona of complications from bladder cancer.

A nine-time all-star in his 15-year career, Santo’s "Oh, nooo!" and "It's bad" groans became his signature in the WGN, Chicago broadcast booth for the past 21 years.
