Florida-Michigan Total: Hillary 86.5 Obama 68.5

Contentious Hillary Clinton supporters BOO'ed and HECKLED the DNC's Rules and By-Laws Committee's decision for the few delegates awarded Hillary for the Florida and Michigan rimaries. The hearing was held throughout Saturday 5-31-08 at the Marriott Wardman Hotel in Washington DC, with Hillary contesting the "original" zero delegates that the DNC Rules and By-Laws Committee punished both Florida and Michigan for moving their respective Primaries ahead of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Neveda. The DNC Rules and By-Laws committed had designated these four States to kick off the Democratic Presidential Primary Season. At the hearing, were representatives from both Michigan and Florida along with Senator Barack Obama's and Hillary's representatives from both States stating their 'delegate-count' cases. Following six hours of hearing all statements and subsequent questions -- from mostly partisan Hillary supporters -- from the DNC Rules and By-Laws Committee they adjourned for a prolonged lunch and rumored arguments, as the lunch took close to three hours. Once the DNC rules committee returned, within an hour decisions were made for both Michigan and Florida.

In summation, the decision was to award 'half' of the delegate count in Mich-FL http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080601/ap_on_el_pr/primary_scramble

In Florida, Hillary was awarded fifty-two delegates and Senator Obama thirty-three delegates, with John Edwards receiving six delegates. Edwards is expected to turn his six delegates over to Senator Obama. Senator Obama will then have thirty-nine total delegates from Florida. The deal passed 19-8. The 19 to 8 decision followed a Nah decision on awarding all of the Florida delegates 15 to 12, which did not hold well for the Hillary supporters in the audience that chanted "Denver" after the Nah decision meaning that the decision will be challenged to the Credential Committee at the Democratic Convention in Denver August 25 - 28th. Final decision though means that Hilary gains thirteen delegates in Florida.

In Michigan, Hillary was awarded 34.5 delegates while Senator Obama was awarded 29.5 delegates. Hillary gains five delegates in Michigan.

The final tally (may not be final as 'the Clintons' adviser Harold Ickes threatened to appeal to the Credentials Committee) for Michigan and Florida:

Hillary ------------ 86.6 Delegates

Senator Obama --- 68.5 Delegates

An 18-delegate gain (24 delegate gain today as Edwards has 6 delegates that he is expected to fork over to Obama) for Hillary in both Florida and Michigan.

All this raucous over 18 (or 24) delegates!!!

Below is a list of the DNC Rules and By-Laws committee and their candidate affiliation:

DNC Rules and By-Laws Chairs:
Co-Chair Alexis Herman (uncommitted -- banged the hammer OFTEN),
Co-Chair James Roosevelt Jr. (uncommitted - F.D.R.'s family member)

DNC Rules Committee members:
Harold Ickes (Clinton - threatened to take the decision to the Credentials Committee: "Mrs. Clinton has told me to reserve her right to take this to the Credentials Committee at the convention" said Ickes);
Donald Fowler (Clinton - stated he "would vote for resolution" despite Ickes protest);
Donna Brazille (Uncommitted - Strongest on DNC rules),
Ben Johnson (DC-Clinton),
Alice Huffman(CA-Clinton),
Everett Ward (NC-Obama -- countered Harold Ickes contention),
Hartina Flournay (DC - Clinton adviser, frequently spoke on Clintons behalf),
Janice Griffin (MD - Obama)

Hillary's Assassination Statements and Fox News Liz Trotta wishes Obama dead

WOW!!! What a commentary. Take 10:00 minutes to listen to MSNBC's Keith Olbermann's commentary on Hilary's "RFK assassination" statement. Loaded with information...link below:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8CsQyr6vlc

Hillary's controversial "RFK assassination" statement:

Fox News Political contributer Elizabeth Trotta wishes Senator Obama DEAD. Trotta states: "And now we have what some are reading as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama, uh Obama. Well, both, if we could." See it for yourself in the link directly below:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjYpkvcmog0&feature=related

In Hillary's "RFK assassination" statement she made reference to her husband -- Bill -- wrapped up the nomination in June of 1992. The "June of 1992" reference is another in a series of "Hillary's un-trues", as Bill Clinton wrapped up the nomination in April of 1992. Tim Russert from Meet the Press proved on May 25th's "Meet the Press" TV Program: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24815500/page/2/

MR. RUSSERT:
Doris raised the second piece of Senator Clinton's comment about Bill Clinton still, in effect, contending for the nomination well into June. And on April 8th, 1992, right after the New York primary, many political observers said the race was over. Here's one on the "Today" show 16 years ago.
(Videotape from "Today")
MR. RUSSERT:
I think Bill Clinton's the nominee of the Democratic Party.
Mr. BRYANT GUMBEL:
Plain and simple. Period.
MR. RUSSERT:
Absent major scandal. He survives the minor ones pretty well. He only needs every other delegate from here on out. Jerry Brown could win every delegate between now and the end of the primary season and he still would still mathematically not have enough delegates. Clinton has a lock on this.
Mr. GUMBEL:
But have...
(End videotape)
MR. RUSSERT:
Now, back then the Clinton campaign thought I was a mathematical genius. I knew how to add.
Jon Meacham, the fact is that Bill Clinton, at that point, had three times as many delegates as anyone else.
MR. JON MEACHAM:
Right.
MR. RUSSERT:
He had locked down the nomination in April of 1992.

Hillary's "RFK Assassination" statement was no slip of the tongue from exhaustion as many of Hillary's supporters claim. Hillary made the exact same statement during the 2008 Democratic Presidential campaign early on. Hillary first made the RFK assassination statement while trailing Obama in the pledged delegate count in March 2008 during an interview conducted by Robert Stengel of Time Magazine in the below link:

"SUPER-DELEGATES" should end this RIGHT NOW!
No more excuses left. Hilary is a danger to party unity if she is allowed to remain, in part due to her crafted seperatist strategy, seperating her vibrant women supporters from the Democratic Party in Hillary's coup attempts to be a part of Senator Obama's ticket. Due to her latest verbal blunders about the "Assassination of RFK in June of 1968", what "spin defense" can come from Hillary's African-American supporters now, especially the Super-Delegates. More importantly, what would happen if Hilary made another, in a growing list of verbal blunders, during the Fall Presidential campaign against the Republican candidate John McCain? In the link below from a previous blog, is a list of some of Hillary's African-American supporters -- most are Super-Delegates: http://kirktanter.blogspot.com/2008_02_02_archive.html

Here is the complete list of ALL un-committed Super-Delegates in the link below: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/arianna-huffington/stop-yelling-at-hillary-t_b_103135.html

Question: Does the Hillary reference to Robert Kennedy's assassination mean that Senator Barack Obama may have this mis-fortune this JUNE? Shakey things have happened before with the Clintons.
Why hasn't Hillary apologized to Senator Barack Obama, his family, and Obama's campaign?

What does Michele Obama think of Hillary's assassination comment? Will Michele Obama and kids be comfortable with Hillary as Vice-President?

TV Talk show hosts, News anchors, Reporters, and Political Analyst should stop being so damn fearful of what the Clintons may do to them. You need to Get Up, Stand Up....Stand up for your Bill of Rights! All, except Keith Olbermann, are soft pedalling Hillary's "Assassination" comment as if the statement is excusable. The media also soft-pedalled Bill Clinton's fellow Arkansas Governor, from the same town as Bubba, Mike Hukkaby, just one short week ago stating: "That was Barack Obama, he just tripped off a chair, he's getting ready to speak," said the former Arkansas governor, to audience laughter. "Somebody aimed a gun at him and he dove for the floor."

Take it like a Man
What we have seen from Senator Barack Obama is a well-managed (especially the creative grassroots financial strategy now approaching 300-million), and exceptionally run campaign, lead by Campaign Strategist David Axelrod and hand picked staff. Senator Obama's impressive list of endorsors from Senator John Kerry and Sen. Kennedy, to Rev. Jesse Jackson, former N.C. Senator and Democratic Presidential candidate Sen. John Edwards, and Governor Bill Richardson...not to mention TV Talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

On the other hand, Hillary's campaign has been grossly mis-managed complete with the wasteful spending of Hillary's contributors that invested 250-million dollars into her campaign, that is now 20-million dollars in debt. Hilary and Bill's consistent verbal blunders losing the trust of millions of voters -- especially African-Americans; and severely underestimating the competition. Hillary stated in December of 2007 that this campaign should be over on February 5th 2008: "I have a campaign that is poised and ready for the long term. We are competing everywhere through February 5th. ...So I'm in it for the long run. It's not a very long run. It'll be over by February 5th."

What Hilary did not expect is losing to an African-American named Barack Obama. Senator Obama clearly out-smarted and out-manevered Hillary from Iowa through May 19th when -- also in Iowa -- Obama announced that he received the lion's share of 'the voter's' pledged delegates. Senator Obama beat Clinton fair and square. Now Hillary, in a "campaign" attempt to raise the negative consciousness of her women supporters that collectively feel robbed and victimized, by the African-American Senator with an Islamic name, Hilary strikes again! In a May 18th interview with the Washington Post, Hillary claimed that she was a victim of sexism by the press that allowed misogynist statements go un-challenged.

What? Are you kidding me?

All I have heard from the TV talk shows and News programs is a strong dose of race baiting, and the "how to deal with Race" discussions...over and over again. Senator Obama was even forced to make a speech about race that was broadcast nationally. It is my opinion, that the press has been scared to touch sexism and further scared of the Clintons. The Clintons and some of their organized supporters, have had several journalist to apologize for comments about them; some journalists have been suspended for comments made about Hillary; and a few journalist were fired for crossing the Clintons. The Washington Post article by Lois Romano on May 20th, revealed Hilary's complaint that the press allows sexism to run rampant. The Washington Post article in the below link is accompanied by Hilary's verbal misogynist comments: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/05/19/AR2008051902729.html

"Meet The Press" transcript in a roundtable discussion about Hillary's sexism and misogynist Washington Post comments during the May 25th MTP broadcast: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24815500/page/3/

Tim Russert:
This is what she (Hillary Clinton) said to The Washington Post, Lois Romano, and here's an audio recording.
(Audiotape, May 18, 2008)
SEN. CLINTON:
The manifestation of some of the sexism that has gone on in this campaign is somehow more respectable, or at least more accepted. And I think there should be equal rejection of the sexism and the racism when...and if it ever raises its ugly head. But it does seem as though the press, at least, is, is not as bothered by the incredible vitriol that has been engendered by the comments and the actions of people who are nothing but misogynists.
(End audiotape)
MR. RUSSERT:
"Nothing but misogynists." Bill Clinton weighed in on Tuesday.
(Videotape)
FMR. PRES. BILL CLINTON:
I don't think there's any question there have been moments in this campaign when the sort of gender bias and presuppositions have come out.
(End videotape)
MR. RUSSERT:
Maureen Dowd, "misogynist," "gender bias," it seems as though the Clintons are being--trying very hard to lay that out as a premise for Hillary Clinton's difficulties in this primary contest.
MS. DOWD:
I think it's poppycock, really. I mean, Hillary Clinton has allowed women to visualize a woman as president for the first time, in the way Colin Powell allowed people to visualize an African-American. And she dominated the debates, she, she proved that a woman can have as much tenacity and gall as any man on earth. We, we can visualize her facing down Ahmadinejad. But the thing is, Hillary hurts feminism when she uses it as opportunism. And she has a history of covering up her own mistakes behind sexism. She did it with health care right after health care didn't pass.

Will Hillary's "Supporters" vote Democratic?

Bill Clinton's Jesse Jackson reference to Obama's South Carolina victory; Hillary's Lyndon Johnson is the one that made the Civil Rights Bill possible; Geraldine Ferraro's comment that "Obama is beating Hilary because he is Black" (Hilary did not denounce nor refuse Ferraro's donations, was an even greater statement); Andrew Cuomo's "shucking and jiving" remarks; Ed Rendell's unelectable comment that "some Whites will never vote for any Black"; and former Black Entertainment Television owner Bob Johnson agreeing to Ferraro's comment, all bait the race card in their attempts to remind white voters to vote for the white candidate Hillary and not the Black candidate Senator Barack Obama. Normally, making racial code comments come from journalists, talk show hosts, pollers, and demographers. However, when you throw the kitchen sink out of a New York penthouse onto a crowded Madison Avenue, then the ones tossing the kitchen sink do not too much care for other people's livlihoods.

Geraldine Ferraro gets on National Television and accuses Senator Obama of being sexist against Hillary. Ferraro's examples are of Obama wiping and scrugging his shoulders. You may recall at the time when Obama shrugged his shoulder. the Clintons threw "the kitchen sink" at Senator Obama, inclusive of racial attacks. Senator Obama wiping his shoulders meant every bit that the Illinois Senator got through the Clintons "kitchen sink" tactics without losing his voter support and the 'all important' delegate count. Ferraro is the one that stated that the only reason why Senator Obama is doing well in the Democratic Primary campaign is that "he is Black". What was shocking to me immediately following Ferraro's racist statement, Hillary did not denounce nor reject support from Gerraro as I blogged on March 12th http://kirktanter.blogspot.com/2008_03_12_archive.html.

What now will the Hilary supporters do? Fifty percent of the Congressional Black Caucus that supported Hillary, what do they now do? African-American journalists, media hosts, local and state politicians that supported Hillary, what do they do? In a previous blog of mine, I listed over twenty super-delegate African-American Congressional leaders that supported Hilary, whose district voted for Obama (a few have switched allegiance from Hillary to Senator Obama) while there politicians that supported Hilary celebrities, All of these racial remarks come from prominent officials about a Harvard law school graduate that was the first African-American president of Harvard Law Review. Senator Obama was also the first Black male U.S. Senator from Illinois, following successful stints as Illinois State Senator, and coming off of a victorious grassroots Democratic primary campaign that raised over 250-million dollars defeating the heavily favorite, former 16-year First Lady of Governor and President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton. At face value, the aforementioned statements from such notables seem grossly disrespectful.

Obama's biggest loss against Hillary is 41%. But Hillary lost Idaho by 62%, Washington D.C. by 52%, the Virgin Islands by over 70%, Kansas and Nebraska by over 40%, and several other competitions by over 35%. Why is West Virginia's margin of loss such a big issue? There is much more media hype here than there is substance. If it weren't for the fact that no other state has their primary this week, WVA would be a complete non-issue.

'Republican Witch-Hunt' smears Senator Obama

Obama blames Fox News, e-mail for likely loss in Kentucky
By Ryan Alessi Lexington Herald-Leader

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/18/obama-blames-fox-news-ema_n_102300.html

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, facing a likely defeat in next Tuesday's primary election, won't travel to Kentucky before the voting, but said he hopes to have much more time to win over Kentucky voters before the November general election.
He also blamed Fox News for disseminating "rumors" about him and said that that and e-mails filled with misinformation that have been "systematically" dispersed have hurt him in Kentucky.
"When we're able to campaign in a place like Iowa for several months and I can visit and talk to people individually, I do very well. That's harder to do at this stage in the campaign," Obama said in a brief telephone interview Friday. "And once we get past the primary, we'll ble to focus more on those states where we need to make sure people know my track record."
In contrast, Obama's rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton, will make five stops in Kentucky over the weekend, including appearances at two university campuses.
Obama spoke to more than 8,000 supporters in Louisville Monday night — his first time in the state since August. He said he had hoped to spend more time in Kentucky earlier this week but was called back to Washington, D.C. for votes on Tuesday.
Since then, he’s stumped in Oregon, which will hold its primary by mail on Tuesday, and South Dakota, where Democrats vote June 3, as well as in states that have already held their primary elections, such as Michigan and Missouri.
“We’re having to campaign in a lot of different places,” Obama said. “Obviously we think Kentucky is important. People in Kentucky are concerned about the same things people are concerned about all across the country — declining wages and incomes combined with the rising costs of everything from gas to health care.”
Obama’s wife, Michelle, is slated to campaign in Kentucky on Monday.
Obama conceded that he has a steep challenge to get his message and background to voters in states such as Kentucky — where he trails Sen. Hillary Clinton by 27 points, according to a poll published earlier this week — and West Virginia, where voters chose Clinton over Obama by 40 points on Tuesday.
"What it says is that I'm not very well known in that part of the country," Obama said. "Sen. Clinton, I think, is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So it's not surprising that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle."
Obama has been trying to introduce himself to Kentuckians using a series of biographical TV ads, as well as fliers, including one that shows him at a pulpit in front of a church’s cross and pipe organ.
He acknowledged that he’s trying to “reverse a lot of misconceptions” about his background. He is a Christian, although some e-mail chains have said he is a Muslim.
“Part of it is because there have been these e-mails that have been sent out very systematically, presumably by various political opponents, although I don’t know who,” he said. “And there are a lot of voters who get their news from Fox News. Fox has been pumping up rumors about my religious beliefs or my patriotism or what have you since the beginning of the campaign.”
As Clinton continues to argue that she is better suited to win in key, large swing states such as Pennsylvania and Ohio, Obama countered that he has performed better among independents.
And he said he and Clinton match up similarly against Republican nominee John McCain. Both trail McCain, the U.S. Senator from Arizona, by double digits in a Herald-Leader/WKYT poll of 600 likely general election voters. McCain leads Clinton by 12 points and Obama by 25 points.
“I think whoever the Democratic is we’re going to have some work to do in a state like Kentucky,” Obama said.
Republican National Committee Spokeswoman Katie Wright dismissed Obama’s contention that he’ll be competitive in Kentucky this fall.
"The more voters in Kentucky get to know Senator Obama, the more they will realize that he doesn't understand the economy or their values,” Wright said in a statement. “Higher taxes, threatening Second Amendment rights, taxing 'dirty energy' and taking choice out of healthcare won't benefit our country much less the hard working families of Kentucky."

Senator Obama now leads Hillary in the Super-Delegate count

Obama --- 297.5 superdelegates
Hillary --- 276.5 superdelegates

Four months ago --- Obama 63 superdelegates

Here's what a few superdelegates who recently changed their support had to say:
"After careful consideration, I have reached the conclusion that Barack Obama can best bring about the change that our country so desperately wants and needs."
- Rep. Donald Payne (NJ-10)
"He has shown he can connect with Democrats, Republicans and independents across this country."
- Kevin Rodriquez (VI)
"It's time to come together as a party and support Sen. Obama and prepare for a victory against John McCain in November."
- Del. Jennifer McClellan (VA-71)
"I cannot in good conscience go to the convention and not support Barack. Hillary ran a great campaign, but she fell short of the line."
- Prince Georges County Executive Jack Johnson (Md.)
Obama overtakes lead in superdelegates for first time
By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER
Associated Press Writer
Sat May 10, 7:07 PM ET

WASHINGTON - Barack Obama erased Hillary Rodham Clinton's once-imposing lead among superdelegates Saturday when he added more endorsements from the group of Democrats who will decide the party's nomination for president.
Obama added superdelegates from Utah, Ohio and Arizona, as well as two from the Virgin Islands who had previously backed Clinton. The additions enabled Obama to surpass Clinton's total for the first time in the campaign. He had picked up nine endorsements Friday.
The milestone is important because Clinton would need to win over the superdelegates by a wide margin to claim the nomination. They are a group that Clinton owned before the first caucus, when she was able to cash in on the popularity of the Clinton brand among the party faithful.
Those party insiders, however, have been steadily streaming to Obama since he started posting wins in early voting states.
"I always felt that if anybody establishes himself as the clear leader, the superdelegates would fall in line," said Don Fowler, a former chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
"It is perceived that he is the leader," said Fowler, a superdelegate from South Carolina who supports Clinton. "The trickle is going to become an avalanche."
Superdelegates are the party and elected officials who will automatically attend the Democratic national convention this August in Denver. They can support whomever they choose, regardless of what happens in the primaries.
They are key because neither Obama nor Clinton can win the nomination without them.
Nearly 800 superdelegates will attend the convention. Obama has endorsements from 276, according to the latest tally by The Associated Press. Clinton has 271.5.
Many of the superdelegates who endorsed Obama in the past week said it is time for the party to unite behind him. Obama is coming off a big win in North Carolina's Democratic primary Tuesday. Clinton narrowly won Indiana's primary the same day, but Obama did better than many expected.
Obama has added 21 superdelegates since and Clinton has had a net increase of two.
Kevin Rodriquez of the Virgin Islands said in a statement that he switched from Clinton to Obama because he thinks Obama has brought energy and excitement to the party.
"He has shown he can connect with Democrats, Republicans and independents across this country, whether we live on the mainland or an island," Rodriquez said.
In all, Obama added five superdelegates late Friday and Saturday. Clinton added one in Massachusetts, but lost the two in the Virgin Islands.
Clinton started the year with a 106-delegate lead among superdelegates, a margin that started to shrink after Obama won the Iowa caucuses in early January.
Jenny Backus, a Democratic consultant who is not aligned with either candidate, said the Democratic National Committee was filled with superdelegates who had long supported Clinton and her husband, the former president. That gave Clinton a built-in advantage.
"The DNC was her turf, and she was the candidate of the insiders," Backus said.
Clinton's margin slipped to 87 the week of Super Tuesday, just as Obama was about to embark on a stretch of 11 straight victories in primaries and caucuses.
Obama was rewarded for his success at the polls.
From Super Tuesday on Feb. 5 to the March 4 primaries in Ohio and Texas, Obama picked up 51 superdelegates while Clinton had a net loss of one.
"Normally the party activists march lockstep with the establishment candidate," Backus said. "They didn't do that this time."
Even during Obama's toughest stretch of the campaign, when his former pastor's incendiary comments dominated the headlines, Obama kept churning out superdelegate endorsements. And when Clinton posted a big win in the Pennsylvania primary, Obama collected still more.
Clinton picked up the pace of her endorsements after Pennsylvania, adding 11.5 superdelegates in the following two weeks, including the half delegate from the Democrats Abroad. Obama countered by adding 22.
A little more than 200 superdelegates remain undecided, and about 40 others will be named by state parties at state conventions and meetings throughout the spring.
ABC News and The New York Times reported separately that Obama had passed Clinton in superdelegates endorsements on Friday. Both of their counts, however, had fewer Clinton superdelegates than the AP count. The AP verifies all superdelegate endorsements included in its count.
Obama has a 163-delegate lead among the pledged delegates won in primaries and caucuses. That means Clinton would have to generate an identical lead among superdelegates to catch him.
There are 217 pledged delegates at stake in the remaining six primaries. Obama is on track to secure a majority of the pledged delegates on May 20, when Kentucky and Oregon vote.
Obama argues that the superdelegates should support the candidate who wins the most pledged delegates. Clinton says superdelegates should exercise independent judgment.
In the overall race for the nomination, Obama has 1,864.5 delegates and Clinton has 1,697, according to the latest AP tally. Obama is just 160.5 delegates shy of the 2,025 needed to secure the Democratic nomination.
Ohio labor leader Dave Regan, who was selected as a superdelegate Saturday, told the AP that Obama is "the candidate that can unite the country and move beyond the divisiveness and gridlock that we have today."
Regan recognized that Clinton won the Ohio primary March 4.
"But that was two months ago. I think as the campaign has unfolded, Obama is looking like a stronger and stronger candidate," Regan said. "I think it's very likely he will be the nominee."
Besides Regan and Rodriquez, Obama added endorsements from Carole Burke of the Virgin Islands, Kristi Cumming of Utah and Rep. Harry Mitchell of Arizona. Clinton added Arthur Powell, a superdelegate from Massachusetts.

Now that it is apparent that Obama will win the Democratic nomination, the Democratic Party fears that Hillary will divide the Party come August in Denver at the Democratic Convention simular to the 1968 and 1980 Democratic Conventions. Political analyst and Democratic Party leaders think it's best to give Obama more time to heal party wounds by August due to a competitive Primary season. Echoes from Hilary supporters threaten not to support Senator Obama and support McCain, if Hilary loses. Recently, a surge of emails from Hillary supporters flooded Super-Delegates email addresses with ultimatums to cast their vote for Hilary or else they defect to the Republican Party, casting their vote for McCain.
High-Level Democrats are requesting that Hillary drop out sooner than later in order to unite the party. The delegate numbers for the Democratic nomination are in Senator Obama's favor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdzCxvbe5Hg. However, Hilary marches on to West Virginia and the remaining primaries speaking divisive about her 'electability', claiming that Obama is not electable against Republicans. Hilary does not take into account that most of 'the voters' cast their vote for Obama over her. The voters decided that Hilary is not the former President Bill Clinton. Ted Kennedy too found out voters felt Teddy is neither Robert nor John Kennedy, during the 1980 Presidential campaign. Ted lost the Democratic nomination to Jimmy Carter. But Teddy boldly divided the party by not shaking Jimmy Carter's hand on the podium at the 1980 Democratic Convention, which made way for top-down Reagonomics.
Senator Obama has more experience 'winning' his own competitive elected office campaigns, and also experience in losing a Congressional election campaign. Hilary was broad-sided with an unparalleled grassroots, web-based fund-raising campaign that Hillary could not match. It takes big money to be President and Obama tripled Hillary's output. Senator Obama has nearly 2-million contributors that are still contributing to his campaign. Obama outsmarted her and better managed his money and grassroots strategy. She may have focused on too many Jack Daniels whiskey shots.
Democratic Strategist Donna Brazille -- "We need to not divide and polarize the Democratic Party..."
NY Times columist Bob Herbert, sarcastically wrote this in his latest column: "He can't win! Don't you understand? He's black! He's black! The Clintons have been trying to embed that gruesomely destructive message in the brains of white voters and superdelegates for the longest time. It's a grotesque insult to African Americans, who've given so much support to both Bill and Hillary over the years.
New York Congressman Charlie Rangel -- Clinton supporter -- said that Hilary's statement was "the dumbest thing she could have said" and "very poorly worded".
Mayor Willie Brown, San Francisco, said that "Hillary's saying that white Americans are hardworking Americans. A lot of African-Americans took great offense at that."
Donna, Bob, Charlie, and Willie are responding to Hillary's calculated statements to woooo white voters over to her side, seemingly dividing the party on racial lines. In the USA Today, Hillary said the day after the Indiana and North Carolina primaries: "I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on. Sen. Obama's support among working,,, hard-working Americans,,, white Americans,,, is weakening again, and how whites in both states (North Carolina and Indiana) who had not completed college were supporting me."
'Hard-working Americans, white Americans?' Wow!
Another Hilary African-American supporter, columnist and author Earl Ofari Huthinson, somehow acknowledges that there may be "some truth to Hilary's statement." Hutchinson chimed in on Hillary's statement in recent Hutchinson's blog in Huffingtonpost.com http://www.huffingtonpost.com/earl-ofari-hutchinson/hillary-said-it-wrong-but_b_101119.html with a challenge for Obama: "Hillary said it wrong, but got it RIGHT about the hard working, white Americans that back her and not Obama. The SUPREME test for Obama is to prove that Hillary said it wrong and got it wrong. The West Virginia primary is yet another litmus test to see if he can." Following the Ofari blog comments were made. Repub4Obama replied to Ofari's blog: "I don't buy it. I think that Hillary said what she thinks privately: that all blacks, hispanics and asians are lazy and can't work hard. She may say differently in public most of the time, but I really think she's finally told us how she feels. Her comment would have been a gaffe or mis-speak, but she repeated the 'white' comment in her NEXT SENTENCE! This second sentence was not a clarification, it was an AFFIRMATION of the first."
I STRONGLY disagree with Earl and his "litmus test for Obama" spin about the upcoming West Virginia primary. We all know -- and Obama already stated -- that West Virginia and Kentucky will be won in grand fashion by Hilary. Obama is not campaigning heavily in West Virginia, if at all.
Secondly, there is no "SUPREME test" for Obama to prove Hillary wrong. Senator Obama has already passed the "supreme test" defeating Hilary in ALL her "limited" demographics in many of the primaries and caucuses -- especially in the high delegate Mid-Atlantic region where Obama captured all of Hilary's stronghold demos. Obama even won the delegate count in Texas. Some reporters just overly-support Hillary with their lavish hope-to-be obsolete "attack the opponent" persuasive statements with their own readership at stake. Funny :o).
A bit of history: 'Working-class whites' did not vote in the majority for Bill Clinton (twice), John Kerry, Al Gore, nor Michael Dukakis against Republican opponents during their general Presidential election. I assume the same will occur this coming election, if Hilary Clinton is the nominee against the Republicans in November 2008. However, Senator Obama has a monumental chance to buck the tradition if and when the Illinois Senator is the Democratic nominee. Obama's policies provide economic tax relief on behalf of that same working class (all races), with four thousand dollars granted to 'working class' kids to go to college in exchange for public service. Just a few benefits for 'working class Americans' under an Obama Presidency. Hillary has nothing of the sort. Working class people, you need to open your ears and eyes to what Obama proposes, instead of getting caught up in old school political rheteric from tag team, Republican-like Hilary and Republican John. Racial code words and statements from the former Barry Goldwater supporter Hilary, are not quite welcome nor encouraged by the Democratic Party today. The party of Kennedy wants Hilary to stop her campaign because they know that she will promote negativity about Obama that will alienate voters from the likely Democratic nominee, Senator Obama. The Democratic party is now begging Hilary, that if she chooses to remain in the Democratic race, that she changes her campaign's tone to respectful and positive. Obama has respecfully abided with the Party since Indiana and North Carolina primaries, by praising the Hilary campaign and stating that Hilary will win in Republican strongholds Kentucky and West Virginia. If Hillary chooses consistently not to abide, then the super-delegates will end it for her by quickly casting their support for Obama. Strike one was her "white working class" comments. We will see if Hillary is even allowed strike two this coming week, as Obama now -- as of Saturday -- has more super-delegates than Hillary. Unfortunately Hilary is not off to a good start.

Did Clinton advisor Mickey Kantor call Indianians SH@#?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mickey_Kantor
The question debated since Friday May 2nd, 2008 is this: Did Clinton's advisor Mickey Kantor (pictured above) call the people of Indiana "Sh@#"? The Clinton camp disagrees that Mickey Kantor was referring to Indianians in his 'moment of swearing' in the documentary "The War Room". The documentary takes a look inside the Bill Clinton 1992 campaign. The exact video clip is shown in part nine of the "War Room" that anyone can order and see for themselves. It is a very interesting and historic documentary. The Mickey Kantor clip was set on election day 1992, when Bill Clinton ran against George Bush 1. The link to the clip is below.

Before I get to the below Mickey Kantor link, a funny thing happened on Friday when the video clip was discovered. We, at the Syndication One News/Talk network, broadcast to our listeners -- on Friday between 10a-1p edt -- where they can go to view the released Mickey Kantor video clip. We did this on one of our talk shows -- the Warren Ballentine show, host by Attorney Warren Ballentine (the fastest growing talk show in the free world) which airs from 10a-1p daily on thetruthfighters.com; syndicated on several radio stations nationally; and also aired on XM Channel 169. Warren directed our truthfighters to go to the Drudgereport.com website and view the Mickey Kantor segment from "The War Room" documentary. I was told that Ballentine first announced the drudgereport.com article and video link to the listeners a little over an hour into his program, at about 11:10am edt that Friday. Warren's loyal listeners then discussed what they witnessed and thought about the video link. The drudgereport.com linked the comments that were taken from the "The War Room". The comments in question were made by Clinton advisor Mickey Kantor. Drudgereport.com's Kantor comments came from a youtube.com link.
Throughout Warren's show Friday May 2nd, 2008, after Warrens' first 11:10am edt announcement, Attorney Ballentine gave out the drudgereport.com site several times more while discussing the clip with the truthfighters. The very last announcement by Attorney Ballentine of the drudgereport.com link to Mickey Kantor video clip was near the end of Ballentines' show at roughly 12:55pm edt. Remember this scenario, that we at Syn1 News-Talk Network are all journalists, news gatherers, basic information geeks, enthusiast to breaking news, and also heavily involved into this historic 2008 Presidential campaign. Serious information gatherers, to the point where we are all going down to Denver for the 2008 Democratic Convention, to boldly crash a convention like no African-American News/Talk operation has ever crashed a convention before, upstaging any competitor worldwide. I guarantee (if we get the money to go :o)) that we will go down in history with our reports, video footage (if we get the money to do that :o)). Anyway, the point is that buzz in both Syn1's control room and the news room during this Friday May 2nd talk show was at an extremely high level. That is normal in broadcast journalist environments when controversial information comes our way. We watched the clip several times, and we too at Syn1 main headquarters in Washington DC, wondered who the hell was Mickey Kantor referring to when he stated that "these people are sh@#" comment? Was Kantor referring to Indianians? Mind you that the Indiana primary is on Tuesday May 6th, 2008 in a closely contested political battle between Hilary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination to compete with the Republican candidate John McCain for the President of the United States in November 2008. The Kantor issue was fresh and controversial.

But then at 12:55pm, Friday May 2nd, a funny thing happened during Attorney Ballentine's last announcement guiding listeners toward the drudgereport.com website. All of a sudden the questionalble Mickey Kantor video clip from the drudgereport.com link was inoperable. Inoperable? News folks know that this type of sh@# happens all the time, and we first saved the direct youtube.com link on several email accounts sent from the news room. But then, folks in blogmeeting room, shortly after our newscaster interviewed a Clinton representative from Indiana to clarify the Mickey Kantor video clip, we click on the saved Mickey Kantor video clip from the documentary "the War Room" on that youtube.com link. Well people in our valued blogmeeting room, guess what happen? The youtube.com video clip from the controversial Mickey Kantor scene in the "The War Room" documentary was extinquished, pulled, lifted, removed, destroyed!! The removal of the video clip from youtube.com was taken away at roughly the same time that the drudgereport.com link became inoperable. What happened? Did attorneys from the Clinton camp make a call to the webmasters from these two sites? Who knows? We just know that the highly viewed Mickey Kantor clip was no longer there. Could it be that the Clintons monitor Attorney Warren Ballentine's show? We had to alert Warren after several attempts from many computers. At 12:56pm on Friday May 2nd, 2008, behind the on-air radio scene, both the tech producer and I informed Warren that the clips and links were removed. Warren then informed the truthfighters that the "Mickey Kantor" video clip from the documentary "The War Room" had just been removed from both websites.

Specifically, the video clip in question was of the advisor to Bill Clinton's Presidential campaign -- and Hillary's informal advisor -- Mickey Kantor "perceived" to be swearing against all Indianians. The Clintons though disagree. Well you can now judge for yourself on the powerpoint video presentation in our blogmeeting conference room. The transcript of the clip from the documentary film "The War Room" includes two other staffers from the "Bill Clinton for President" campaign, Democratic Strategist James Carville (with the black glove on), and George Stephanopolous -- who is currently host of a Sunday morning politically based TV talk show and moderator of the last questionable debate in Philadelphia between Hillary and Senator Obama. The transcript within the documentary "The War Room" goes as follows:

CARVILLE: Tied in Texas. It looks good. Now let's just say that. I like the text here.
GEORGE: Can you beep Wendy please? Looks pretty good. Looks pretty good.
MICKEY KANTOR: Look at Indiana. Wait, wait. Look at Indiana. Forty-two, forty. It doesn't matter if we win. Those people are sh@# (oh, excuse me)...

What "people are SH@#" that Kantor refers is the question? I have the video clip right here and right now, from a video link for another website. The video link comes from a popular site of journalist columns and blogs called HuffingtonPost.com. The above transcript from "The War Room" comes to us at about the 4-minute 47-second mark of the below link. The video clip illustrates in full, part nine of the "War Room" documentary (We hope it is still there when you click the link below from huffingtonpost.com Sunday afternoon 5-4-2008).
